Personal
Sooyoung was born Choi Sooyoung in Gwangju South Korea in 1990,
graduating from Jeong-Shin Women's High School in 2009.
She majored in film studies and graduated from Chung-Ang University in February 2016,
receiving a lifetime achievement award at the graduation ceremony.
Sooyoung joined Girl's Generation K-Pop group in 2007.
She often raises money for the study of illnesses Retinitis Pigmentosa & Heart Disease.
She has been dating popular actor Jung Kyung Ho since 2013.
